Dear Eva-Lisa (2020)

The video Dear Eva-Lisa (2020) presents letters written to Eva-Lisa Bengtson during her work with her club Transvestia. Together the letters tell the history of Swedens first club for transpeople. The letters and photographs in the video come from the archive Eva-Lisa created during her life as an activist. Today the archive is accessible for reseachers, artists and activists at Queerrörelsens arkiv och bibliotek - QRAB in Gothenburg.

The video was commissioned by Mint as a part of the exhibition A careful Strike* curated by Michele Masucci 2020.
